The display of bible text in the APP shows different spacing between lines depending on whether or not there is a footnote or cross-reference mark in the line. In other words the spacing is larger when there is such a mark in the line then when there is no such a mark. Depending on the fonts (sometimes unusual non-Western fonts) we use, it looks more or less awkward. We would rather have a possibility to set the height to a fixed height. It seems there is no provision for that in SAB, is that right?
Could you have a look into this?

If you go under the Styles section, have you tried adjusting the line-height for “body”? That might solve the problem.

Please note that this post is not about the possibility to vary the height of the lines, but to set a FIXED HEIGHT independent of what character height or sub- or superscripts signs or characters appear between the lines. At the moment this gives an irregular display of the lines. It depends on the fonts and the script what really happens. SAB should preferably have an option where you can regulate/set this FIXED height.
To see the difference in your own APPS you may have to enlarge the screen size to see the problem, but it some scripts we use, it is easy to see and is uncomfortable while reading.

    Hello Paul and Richard

    We have tried this:

If you go under the Styles section, have you tried adjusting the line-height for “body”? That might solve the problem.

But unfortunately it did not work. This issue is a serious issue because it should be possible to display lines which the same spacing between them, no matter what the font size is or the special signs that appear in the text (cross-references and footnote references).
